This Warranty Pledge is our formal vow—our shield—to stand behind the craftsmanship of our technicians and the integrity of the systems we build for you. We believe a true guardian does not disappear after the initial battle; they fortify the walls for the long winter. This document details that enduring commitment.
Our Workmanship, Our Pride
For a period of 7 – 9 years from the date of system completion and acceptance, Northern Frontier Inc. warrants to you, the original customer, that the installation services and workmanship provided will be free from defects and conform to the highest professional standards in the low-voltage security industry.
- Scope: This covers the labor and technical execution of our USA-licensed technicians: the routing of cables, termination of connections, mounting of devices, programming of control panels, and integration of all components into a seamless, custom ecosystem.
- Remedy: Should a defect in workmanship arise, we will dispatch a technician to your site at no charge for labor or travel to diagnose and, at our sole discretion, repair or replace the faulty workmanship. This is our ironclad promise for two full years.
Manufacturer Defects
The premium equipment we install—from trusted brands like Honeywell, 2GIG, Axis, Dahua, and Bosch—is protected by the manufacturer’s original warranty. These warranties typically range from one (1) to three (3) years for parts against defects in materials. We act as your champion in this process.
- Our Role: We will provide you with all relevant manufacturer warranty documentation. If a piece of equipment fails due to a manufacturer’s defect within its warranty period, we will coordinate the claim, obtain the replacement part, and install it for you. For manufacturer warranties, labor to replace the part is covered by us for the first year. In years two and three of a manufacturer’s parts warranty, labor fees may apply at a preferential service rate.
- Life-Saving Core Components: Recognizing the critical nature of the medical alert, police dispatch, and fire department dispatch features, we extend additional care to key components like system control panels, primary communicators, and power supplies. If these core components fail within three (3) years due to a manufacturer’s defect, we will cover all associated labor to restore your system to full function at no cost to you.
Beyond the Warranty
Our covenant does not expire when the warranty periods end. We offer optional Vigilant Support Plans for ongoing system stewardship, including annual wellness checks, software updates, and priority service. For warranty clients, the first year of this plan is offered at a significant discount, because a protected system is a lasting system.
What This Shield Does Not Cover
To ensure absolute clarity, our warranties do not cover:
- Acts of God or External Forces: Damage from floods, lightning strikes, earthquakes, power surges (without proper surge protection in place), or other extraordinary events.
- Neglect or Alteration: Damage or failure resulting from misuse, accident, negligence, improper testing or operation by you or a third party, unauthorized alterations, or failure to maintain the system environment (e.g., extreme heat, dust, moisture in device locations).
- Consumables: Batteries, fuses, or bulbs, which have a finite expected life.
- Cosmetic Damage: Normal wear and tear, scratches, or cosmetic changes to equipment housings.
- Third-Party Services: Issues arising from internet service providers, cellular network carriers, or monitoring center services, though we will aid in diagnosing them.
The Heroic Response – How to Make a Warranty Claim
Should your shield need reinforcement, the process is simple:

- Diagnosis: We will perform remote diagnostics where possible. If a site visit is required, we will schedule a time with you.
- Verification & Repair: Our technician will verify the issue. If it is covered under our Craftsman’s Warranty or applicable manufacturer warranty, repairs will be made immediately at no cost (subject to the terms above).
- Your Peace of Mind: You will receive a detailed service report, and we will follow up to ensure your system—and your confidence—is fully restored.
